Church Links

All Saints' Church

We have close links to our church and the parish.

As a church school many of our Governors are elected by the church to serve on the Governing Body.

The church is within the Deanery of Wigan, which itself is part of the Diocese of Liverpool. It has strong civic links and bi-annually hosts the official service of remembrance each November. All Saints' is committed to the ecumenical life and are members of the local ecumenical partnership.

The church is a hub of the community and has a fabulous history.

Please visit their web site for further information

We regularly visit the church for services and to enhance our learning in RE. Here are some photos of our recent visits.

Reception Church Welcome

We had a lovely welcome to our church recently and our parents were invited too!

Year 4 Led our Harvest Worship in Church

Year 4 led our most recent Harvest Service. Each class from Year 1 to Year 6 sang a Harvest-themed song and Year 4 taught us the meaning of Harvest - that we should be thankful for what we have and help those who have less than we do.

Other recent services...

Year 4 led our Christmas Service. Each class from Year 1 to Year 6 sang a Christmas carol or song and Year 4 told us all about how Christmas is celebrated around the world.

Year 3 led our Easter Service. Each class from Year 1 to Year 6 sang an Easter song and Year 3 told us all about the importance of Easter to Christians.
