Fire Pit Area

Our Fire pit Area has our log seating area, which can be sheltered with a canopy, the fire pit itself and our Den-building Area. These areas are regularly used, year round, for Outdoor Learning, sharing a class reader, Golden Time activities and activities linked to our English, Maths and Inspire Units.

English work on The Explorer, by Katherine Rundell - Y6 tried all the foods, including some bugs, that the children in the story had to survive on. We didn't toast any Tarantulas though - thank goodness!
